Long-term Disability Insurance

All participants who become eligible for the regular retirement plan also receive Long-term Disability Insurance (LTD) as a fully paid benefit from UBFA. This insurance becomes effective when the participant becomes totally disabled for a continuous period of 180 days and will pay 60 percent of the present employee's base monthly earnings to a maximum of $10,000 per month.
