Accessing the UBFirst Application

In order to access the UBfirst Application, you will need meet the following requirements:

  1.  A valid UBITName and password
  2. A computer with the Citrix XenApp client installed
  3. Log-In to UBFirst
** If you are unable to install the software, you will need the help of your computer administrator to proceed any further.

  • From the UB Site

How Do I install the Citrix XenApp client software?

How do I log-in to UBFirst?

  1. Go to the UB Citrix Web Portal
  2. Enter your credentials in the"Log in" box and click the "Log In" button
    • User name = Your UBITName
    • Password = Your UBITName Password
    • Domain = AD
    • ** if you get the error message that "The supplied credentials were invalid", you may need to change your UBITName password before you can sign in.
  3. Click the "Advancement" folder in the "Applications" box
    • ** If you do not see the "Advancement" folder in the "Applications" box, click the "Top" button in the upper left hand side of the "Applications" box
  4. Click "UBFirst" icon in the "Applications" box
  5. Enter your UBITName and password into the UBFirst Applicatin prompt

What if I get an "Invalid Credentials" error?

  • If you are certain you entered your correct UBIT username/password, you most likely need to change your UBIT password.  How do I change my password?
